CdActs-Vessels featuring Lashon,Yolanda, Montrisa,Janel,Alicia,Hiliary and Sherell. These seven african-american female
vocalists,the original trio along with the four additions were chosen to sing in the Niagara Falls gospel group
called Vessels. The group was Boston's vision who later formed the group out of The Prince of Peace Concert
Community Choir. After traveling back and forth to Buffalo attending C.O.G.I.C midnight musicals,workshops and concerts,
Boston would hear groups like Charisma,Hall Sisters and Shekinah to name a few. Being a mover and a shaker
at the time,Boston being inspired had a vision to form a group to head up his production roster. He selected four voices
from P.O.PC.C.C. and Divinity was born there at the Morning Star Church of God In Christ!. Later, Boston wanted a new name
for the group. So, while considering names that would fit and after going back and forth with Brian
Garland, the M.D.s oon Brian uttered the name "VESSELS" and that's the name that Boston chose for the female vocalist
group. So, the groups first name is Divinity and their last name is Vessels!
Vessels was a local popular urban-contemporary gospel group during the 1989-1993 period, now referred to as
"the Vesselonian era".The songs were written and composed by Visionary DM Thomas Boston,,songs entitled "GODs true love" expressed
the love of JESUS the begotten SON of GOD.Truly,JESUS is the true meaning of GOD's true love. For He gave
his life and was risen again to save all who would believe on HIM! Meanwhile,Vessel's popularity began
to spread throughout the local church community.
